Terms of service

These terms govern your use of PoPLense, operated by PoPLense (Dhaka, Bangladesh). By creating an account you agree to them on behalf of your organization.

The service

PoPLense provides monitoring of environmental and power conditions at your sites through devices you purchase and a hosted dashboard. Monitoring supports, but does not replace, your own operational procedures. Alerts depend on device power, connectivity and third-party delivery services (email, push), which we cannot guarantee.

Accounts and devices

• You are responsible for your users and for keeping credentials secure.
• A device can be linked to one organization at a time. Keep claim codes private until the device is added.
• Mains or UPS sensing must use certified, isolated equipment installed by a qualified electrician. Never connect mains voltage to the device.

Subscription and payment

• New organizations get a 14-day free trial. After that the subscription is ৳500 per organization per month, paid in advance.
• If payment lapses, email and push notifications pause after a short grace period. Your data is retained and access resumes when you renew.
• Fees already paid are not refundable except where required by law.

Acceptable use

Don't misuse the service, attempt to access other organizations' data, or interfere with its operation.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, PoPLense is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including outages at your sites. Our total liability is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim.
